The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has rescheduled Matchday 26 fixtures to Wednesday, 26th February 2025.

This is contained in a letter issued on Thursday by Davidson Owumi, Chief Operating Officer, addressed to the chairmen/general managers of Nigeria Premier Football League clubs and the concerned state’s football association.

The NPFL explained that the postponement is to accommodate the 2025 President Federation Cup State finals scheduled for 22nd and 23rd February 2025.

“The Board of Directors, Management, and Staff of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) extend their warm regards. Sequel to the 2025 President Federation Cup State finals fixed for 22nd and 23rd February, 2025.” The statement from the league body stated

“Kindly be informed that the NPFL Matchday 26 games have been rescheduled for Wednesday, 26th February, 2025. The above is for information and continuous compliance,” concluded the statement.

The rescheduling will ensure that clubs can fully participate in the Federation Cup without impacting their NPFL commitments.
