The Borno State Police Command has assured residents of a peaceful and hitch-free Eid-El-Kabir celebration in the state.

According to a press release signed by CP Yusufu Mohammed Lawal, Commissioner of Police, Borno State Command, the police have taken proactive measures to ensure effective crowd control and crime prevention during the festivities.

Muslim faithful have been advised to observe prayers at designated praying grounds closer to their neighborhoods as part of their civic responsibility for public safety.

The police commissioner wished the public, especially Muslim faithful, a happy Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
