Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has called for a return to strong family values as a crucial step in building a new Nigeria.
Bago made this call at the 44th-anniversary celebration of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Minna Headquarters auditorium, Gbaiko, on Sunday, May 4, 2025,
Governor Bago urged parents to prioritise family values, emphasising mutual respect between young and old and strong and weak.
He also spoke against self-aggrandisement.
“I admonished our parents to bring back family values as the first step going forward in building a new Nigeria. Let the young one respect the old one, and let the strong one respect the weak one. Let people stop aggrandisement,” the governor said.
Governor Bago congratulated Living Faith Church Worldwide on its anniversary and assured that his administration will continue to support the Church and Christendom.
