Kano Pillars Football Club has announced the appointment of Coach Muhammad Babaganaru as Acting Technical Adviser, with immediate effect, following recent changes in the team’s technical department.
In a statement released on Monday by the club’s Media and Communications Directorate, the management said Babaganaru’s appointment is aimed at stabilising the team and improving performance in the ongoing 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
“Coach Babaganaru assumes duty immediately and will lead the Sai Masu Gida in upcoming fixtures,” the statement read.
The management expressed confidence in Babaganaru’s experience and leadership, wishing him success as he takes charge of the team.
“We trust in his technical expertise and commitment to restore Kano Pillars’ winning form,” an official who spoke in anonymity to our correspondent said.
The Borno-born Babaganaru, a seasoned tactician, is no stranger to Kano Pillars, having previously led the club to multiple league titles during his earlier tenure.
His return is expected to reinvigorate the squad as the team seeks to climb up the NPFL table.
