Adamawa State’s Christian pilgrims have returned from Israel and Jordan, with a visit to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri reporting a “resounding success.

His Royal Highness Murum Mbula Bwaltam Bentley Biyapo, the leader of the delegation, presented an official report to Governor Fintiri at the Government House, Yola.

His Royal Highness Biyapo praised Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s administration for its unwavering commitment to religious harmony and support for spiritual development.

“The pilgrimage was one of the most efficiently organised in recent years,” His Royal Highness Biyapo said.

The delegation also reported zero abscondments and smooth coordination. They credited the government’s planning and support.

His Royal Highness Bentley Biyapo suggested stricter visa oversight and a guarantor’s fee to prevent future issues. He also advised against elderly pilgrims above 70 travelling due to health risks.

Governor Fintiri thanked the delegation. “Adamawa State remains a beacon of religious tolerance and unity,” he stated.

“Despite the economic challenges facing the nation, we remain steadfast in our resolve to provide the necessary backing for religious and developmental programs that benefit our people.”

He promised to review their recommendations for future pilgrimages.
