Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on Monday announced a minor cabinet reshuffle aimed at optimizing his administration’s performance.

According to a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, the reshuffle affects four ministries.

Neido Geoffrey Kufulto, formerly Commissioner for Information, has been reassigned to the Ministry of Women Affairs. Wunfe Anthony will now head the Ministry of Transportation, while James Iliya, previously Commissioner for Entrepreneurship, takes over as Commissioner for Information. Hamajumba Gatugel has been appointed Commissioner in the Ministry of Entrepreneurship.

Governor Fintiri expressed confidence in his commissioners’ ability to deliver on their new responsibilities, stating that the reshuffle is designed to maximize their strengths and improve services to the people of Adamawa State.

He urged the commissioners to work together for a seamless transition and continue serving the state with dedication and commitment.

The reshuffle takes effect immediately.
