Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has launched the second phase of the Fintiri Business Wallet, a poverty alleviation and wealth creation initiative, distributing ₦50,000 to 10,000 women across the state.
Speaking at the launch, Governor Fintiri emphasized the program’s importance in achieving his administration’s 8-Point Agenda, focusing on youth and women development, poverty alleviation, and commerce.
The initiative, implemented by the Poverty Alleviation and Wealth Creation Agency (PAWECA), has trained over 20,000 youths and 5,000 students in vocational skills.
Commissioner of Entrepreneurship Development, Hon. Hammajumba Gatugel, commended the Fintiri administration’s dedication to youth and women empowerment, urging beneficiaries to utilize the funds effectively.
The launch was attended by dignitaries, including the Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Bathiya Wesley, who appreciated the administration’s historic empowerment initiatives and their impact on reducing crime rates.
The second phase of the Fintiri Business Wallet marks a significant milestone in reducing poverty and advancing economic growth in Adamawa State, aligning with Governor Fintiri’s vision of inclusive governance.
