Adamawa Police Fortify Madagali, Michika for Royal Coronations

The Adamawa State Police Command has announced a heavy security presence ahead of the coronation ceremonies of the Ptil Madagali, HRH Dr. Ali Danburam, and the Mbege Ka Michika, HRH Professor Bulus Luka Gadiga.

These ceremonies are set to be held on February 19th and 20th, 2025, respectively.

This information was released in a statement on Tuesday by SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, Police Public Relations Officer, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State.

The statement said that the Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, has instructed the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, with the help of the Area Commander in Mubi, to oversee security at all important places where important people will be.

To make security even tighter, the Commanding Officer of 65 PMF and the Commander of the Special Rapid Response Team will be in charge of armed teams at all entrances and exits in Gulak and Michika, and also around the places where the events will happen.

Traffic police, headed by the officer in charge of the Central Motor Traffic Division, will make sure traffic flows smoothly.

The Bomb Disposal Squad and crowd control police have also been sent to check the event venues, keep things in order, stop any security problems, and handle emergencies.
