Adamawa Police Investigate Alleged Abduction, Forced Conversion of Minor

The Adamawa State Police Command says it is investigating allegations circulating on social media regarding the abduction and forced conversion of a minor, Georgia Miracle, in Jambutu, Jimeta-Yola.

In a press statement released on Monday, issued by the PPRO by SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje the Command acknowledged that while they have not yet received an official report of the alleged abduction, they have initiated an investigation to ascertain the facts and ensure justice.

“The Adamawa State Police Command came across a story making round the social media regarding the alleged Abduction and forceful conversion of a minor Georgia Miracle in Jambutu, Jimeta-Yola,” the statement read.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, urged all parties involved to remain calm and allow the law to take its course.

He assured the public that a thorough investigation will be conducted to uphold the rule of law.

The Adamawa State Police Command is requesting anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward and assist with the investigation.
