The National Union of Adamawa State Students (NUADSS) has showered praise upon Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, hailing him as a “student-friendly” leader for his unwavering commitment to education and student welfare.

Comrade Aliyu Ibrahim Malkohi, NUADSS National President, speaking to journalists in Yola, articulated the union’s gratitude for the governor’s transformative impact on the state’s education sector.

“Governor Fintiri has breathed new life into our education system,” Malkohi declared, “from the primary school classrooms to the hallowed halls of our universities.”

Malkohi specifically highlighted the governor’s groundbreaking free education initiative and the timely payment of WAEC and NECO examination fees, which he described as “a lifeline for many students and families”.

“These initiatives have lifted a tremendous burden from our shoulders,” Malkohi stated, “allowing us to focus on our studies without the crushing weight of financial hardship.”

Furthermore, the NUADSS president commended the governor for the prompt disbursement of scholarships to Adamawa students across the country.

“Governor Fintiri understands that investing in education is investing in the future of our state,” Malkohi asserted.

“His commitment to ensuring that no student is left behind is truly commendable.”

The union’s leadership reaffirmed its unwavering support for the “Fresh Air” administration, pledging to continue advocating for the rights and interests of Adamawa students.

“We stand shoulder to shoulder with Governor Fintiri,” Malkohi emphasised.

“and we are committed to working alongside him to build a brighter future for our state.”

In the spirit of Ramadan, NUADSS urged Adamawa students to offer fervent prayers for the continued success of Governor Fintiri’s administration and the overall progress of the state.

“Let us use this holy month to pray for our governor, for our leaders, and for the peace and prosperity of Adamawa State,” Malkohi implored.
