Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, received Apostle Johnson Suleman, General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, on a condolence visit.
 
The governor received the clergy at the Government House in Bauchi on Wednesday. 
 
According to a statement from Lawal Muazu, Governor Bala’s New Media Aide, the visit was a condolence call following the passing of the governor’s stepmother, Hajiya Hauwa Mohammed Duguri.
 
Apostle Suleman, who is currently in Bauchi for a church crusade and outreach, commended Governor Mohammed for his inclusive governance, particularly his support for the Christian community in the state. 
 
Apostle Suleman prayed for the soul of the late Hajiya Hauwa to rest in Aljannatul Firdaus and for strength for the family during this difficult time.
 
Responding to Apostle Suleman’s condolences, Governor Mohammed expressed his gratitude and urged religious leaders across the country to intensify prayers for divine intervention in addressing Nigeria’s multifaceted challenges. 
 
“We need prayers now more than ever to overcome the numerous challenges facing our nation,” Governor Mohammed said. 
 
“I call on all religious leaders to join hands in praying for Nigeria’s prosperity and peace.”
