A disturbing case of child abuse has come to light in Bauchi, leading to the arrest of a 50-year-old father, Abubakar Nuhu (aka Wanzam).

A concerned citizen reported a 5-year-old boy, Hussaini Abubakar, being held captive and tied with a chain in a room at Gwallagan Mayaka.

A team of detectives promptly responded to the scene and rescued the unconscious child. The victim revealed that his biological father, Abubakar Nuhu, had been treating him inhumanely and holding him captive.
