The Bauchi State Police Command has completed a three-day capacity-building training program for 60 officers
According to a statement issued by the PPRO CSP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil on Friday, the training is in line with the Inspector General of Police’s emphasis on professionalism, efficiency, and expanding the force’s role beyond traditional law enforcement.
The training, conducted in collaboration with Fimihan Adeoye Security Consult at the Police Officers’ Mess in Bauchi, focused on statutory police duties, use of force and firearms, inter-agency collaboration, and effective police patrols for crime prevention and detection.
“AIG Fimihan Adeoye (Rtd) and CEO of Fimihan Adeoye Security Consult expressed confidence in the enthusiasm and engagement demonstrated by the participants throughout the training,” the statement said.
He also commended CP Muhammed’s commitment to advancing the command’s human resources through training.CP Auwal thanked the Fimihan Adeoye Security Consult team for facilitating the program.
“He reaffirmed the Bauchi State Police Command’s dedication to ongoing collaboration with the firm to further develop the skills and capabilities of its officers,” the statement added.
CP Auwal also announced plans to extend similar training programs across all levels of the command.
