The Bauchi State Police Command, in collaboration with other security agencies, conducted a “Show of Force” exercise throughout the Bauchi Metropolis.
CSP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), disclosed in a statement that Commissioner of Police Sani-Omolori initiated the Enhanced Security Measures through Joint Show of Force.
The exercise conducted on Saturday, which involved strategic deployments across key locations, aimed to demonstrate inter-agency cooperation and reassure residents of their safety.
Participating agencies included the 33 Artillery Brigade, the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), and other relevant organisations.
Commissioner of Police, CP Aliyu, emphasised the importance of inter-agency collaboration in maintaining law and order.
“This initiative aims to mitigate crime and enhance public safety throughout the state,” he stated.
He also reaffirmed the commitment of all participating agencies to protecting lives and property.
The “Show of Force” exercise, which concluded without incident, was designed to be a proactive measure to ensure peace and build confidence among Bauchi State residents and visitors.
The Bauchi State Police Command reassured the public of its dedication to maintaining law and order and encouraged citizens to cooperate with law enforcement.
