Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, has called on Nigerians to visit the ongoing Northeast international trade fair holding on Bauchi, the Bauchi state capital.
Zulum said that supporting the fair would help the economic development of the northeastern region of Nigeria.
The Borno state governor made the remarks at the opening of the 10th meeting of the Northeast Governors’ Forum (NEGF) in Bauchi.
He highlighted the abundant minerals and raw materials found in the northeast, emphasizing the importance of collaboration to create and improve business opportunities.
Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, who hosted the meeting, welcomed the guests and praised the federal government’s “Renewed Hope” program, which empowers young people and women. He pledged to continue working with other governors for the benefit of the people.
Mohammed said his administration would keep developing initiatives to revitalize the economy, attract investment, and create jobs. He called for support and partnership from others.
