Borno Police Beef Up Security for Ramadan, Extend Warm Greetings

The Borno State Police Command has announced a significant increase in security measures ahead of the commencement of Ramadan, extending warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah.

The announcement, released on Friday by ASP Nahum Kenneth Daso, ANIPR, Police Public Relations Officer for the Borno State Police Command, detailed a comprehensive security plan designed to ensure a peaceful and safe environment throughout the holy month.

“We understand the importance of this period for our Muslim brothers and sisters,” stated the statement.

“Therefore, we have implemented enhanced surveillance, intensified patrols, and increased police visibility at strategic locations across the state.”

The Commissioner of Police, CP Yusufu Mohammed Lawal, emphasised the Command’s unwavering dedication to the safety and well-being of all residents during Ramadan.

“Our commitment is to ensure that everyone can observe this sacred month in peace and security,” CP Lawal said. “We wish the entire Muslim Ummah a blessed and peaceful Ramadan.”

The release further urged members of the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station.

“It is crucial that we all work together to maintain peace and order,” ASP Daso noted.

“If you see something, say something. Your vigilance can make a significant difference.”
