The Commissioner of Police, Borno State Command, CP Yusufu Mohammed Lawal, today received the newly posted Resident Anti-Corruption Commissioner, Linus Gubbi, and principal officers of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) at the Command headquarters in Maiduguri.
During the courtesy visit, CP Lawal commended the existing collaboration between the two agencies.
“The police, under the able leadership of the IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has steered the force to greater heights through his vision of collaboration and public-centred policing,” he stated.
“I pledge my full support to the ICPC in achieving its aim of eradicating corruption.”
Mr. Gubbi expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and emphasized the importance of continued synergy between the two agencies.
“We appreciate the assistance provided by the police command and look forward to further collaboration to achieve our collective goals,” he said.
