Borno Police confirms Receipt of 60 Vehicles Donated by Gov. Zulum

The Borno State Police Command has received 60 new operational vehicles, donated by the Borno State Governor Babagana Umara Zulum to enhance its operational efficiency.

The vehicles, commissioned by Inspector General of Police Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun on March 14th, will be distributed across the state.

“This generous donation is a significant boost to the command’s ongoing efforts to enhance visibility and operational efficiency,” stated Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Nahum Kenneth Daso, in a press release on Thursday .

He also disclosed that the vehicles will be deployed to police divisions, area commands, and formations to strengthen patrols and improve emergency response times.

Commissioner of Police Yusufu Mohammed Lawal expressed gratitude for the state government’s support. 

“We are grateful for the continuous support in equipping the police to effectively serve and protect communities,” Lawal said.

The command reiterated its commitment to providing improved security services to the people of Borno State.
