Coaches from Borno State Sports Council praises Commissioner for his support as Maiden edition of Volleyball kick start in Maiduguri.

Borno State Sports Council in conjunction with Borno State Volleyball Association has organized the maiden edition of Inter Clubs Championship in Borno State.

The competition which was kick start at Volleyball field in Elkanemi Warriors Sports Center Maiduguri

According to Coach Jibrin Ahmadu Kachalah (Coach JB ) a staff of Borno State Sports Council says ” Eight different teams of boys  are to compete with each other in two groups, and Two teams of Girls were all the team players are indigene of Borno State.

Coach JB adding that they will select the best players to represent Borno state at the National Volleyball Division Two League and select others for National Youth games as well as up coming National Sports Festival in the Country.

The entire organisers, Coaches as well as supporters acknowledged the efforts of the Honourable commissioner Ministry of Youths and Sports development Comrade Saiina Buba for giving them all the necessary support and sponsoring them to some courses outside the state.

It could be recall that Borno State Sports Council under the able leadership of Comrade Saiina Buba whom he provided conducive environment for all the administrative staff of the council as well as program athletes in the council.

Under Saiina Bubas efforts Elkanemi Warriors Football Club of Maiduguri was promoted to Nigeria Premier League as well as Final stage of Presidential Federation Cup which will be played on 29/06/2024.
