Suspected Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters are currently attacking Ngala, a border town in northern Borno State.
According to Yerwa Express News, the attack reportedly began around 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, with heavy gunfire heard in several parts of the town.
Troops of the Nigerian Army are said to be engaging the terrorists in a fierce battle, while reinforcements from the Nigerian Air Force are being awaited
