Breaking: El-kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri wins 2024 Presidential Cup

The El-kanemi Warriors football club of Maiduguri have won the Presidential Cup against the Abia Warriors.

The NNL football competition tagged the “Battle of the Warriors was played between the Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri and Abia Warriors.

The Warriors beat the Abia Warriors 2 goals to nil, in the final match which was played at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena (Onikan), Lagos.

Nasiru Saliu scored a brace in both half time of the match in the 31st and 68th minutes respectively.

El-kanemi Warriors as the winner of the President Federation Cup will now represent Nigeria in the CAF Confederation Cup alongside Enyimba FC of Aba.
