Breaking: Takum Gets New First Class Chief After 28 Years

In a historic announcement, Taraba State Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas has named Barrister Sopiya Ahmadu Gboshi as the new First Class Chief of Takum.

Northeast Punchline understands that the position has been vacant for the past 28 years.

Barrister Gboshi, who hails from the Chamba ethnic group in Takum, was sworn in at the Exco Chamber of the Jalingo Government House on Monday night.

Also, Two ‘Third Class Chiefs’ -Tsohon Takum and Kur Garbabi Chiefdom, were presented with their Staff-of-Office by the Governor during the ceremony.
