The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the opening of four transfer windows for teams participating in the Champions League and Confederation Cup.
According to a statement on the CAF website, the first transfer window will be open from July 1 to July 20, covering the preliminary and second preliminary rounds of the competitions.
The second window will run from September 1 to September 30, 2025, and will cover the group stages of the tournaments.
A third window will be open from January 1 to January 30, allowing teams to register a maximum of seven additional players, including four replacements.
The announcement comes as Nigerian teams prepare to represent the country in the continental competitions.
The winners of the Nigeria Premier Football League and the runners-up will compete in the CAF Champions League, while the second runners-up and the President Federation Cup winner will participate in the CAF Confederation Cup.
This development is expected to have a significant impact on the teams’ preparations for the competitions, and fans can expect to see new faces and talent on display.
