Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has called on the Muslim Ummah to embrace the virtues of personal sacrifice and obedience, as exemplified by Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as they celebrate Eid El-Kabir.

The Governor’s message, contained in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, on June 5, 2025, congratulated the Muslim faithful on witnessing another blessed season.

He urged them to use the occasion for sober reflection and spiritual renewal.

โ€œEid El-Kabir is not just a time of festivity but an opportunity to recommit ourselves to the values of sacrifice, honesty, dedication, and peace as we march towards a common destiny,โ€ Governor Fintiri stated.

He reminded citizens of the importance of being their brother’s keeper, emphasising that peaceful coexistence remains the bedrock for unity and development, both in Adamawa State and the nation at large.

Governor Fintiri also appealed for increased prayers for the peace, security, and progress of Nigeria, noting that the country requires the collective commitment of its people during this critical time.

Extending his best wishes to Adamawa State pilgrims currently performing the Hajj, the governor prayed for a successful Arafat and safe return journey.

He concluded by praying for Godโ€™s continued protection over all citizens and the grace to witness many more Sallah celebrations in peace and prosperity.
