Governor Mai Mala Buni CON, has given approval for the payment of one month palliative Bonus of N10,000 for Civil Servants and N5,000 for Pensioners in the State.

The gesture is meant to cushion the effect of the current economic hardship and provides relief during the forthcoming Eid-el-Kabir Sallah celebration.

In a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Public Service Office, Office of the Head of Service, Alhaji Bukar Kilo for Head of Service, indicates that the cost implication stands at Three Hundred and Twenty Million Naira (N320,000,000.00) for State Civil Servants and Pensioners and Three Hundred and Seventy Five Million, Nine Hundred Thousand Naira (N375,900,000.00) for Local Govt Staff and Pensioners.

The statement added that Civil Servants are expected to reciprocate the gesture of His Excellency by being committed to their duties and continously pray for the success of the Hon. Mai Mala Buni administration.
