El-Kanemi Warriors Bolster Squad with 4 New Signings

El-Kanemi Warriors football club of Maiduguri has strengthened their squad with four new signings during the mid-season transfer window.

This was disclosed by club media officer Gaga on Thursday.

The club has strategically added a goalkeeper, Jerry Isaac, from Nasarawa United, a defender, Mohammed Banguora, from Kanema Kambio FC of Sierra Leone, and two strikers, Lucky Vandi from Sunshine Stars Akure and Chris Conty from Wireless FC Abuja.

“These new signings are expected to provide more depth and competitiveness to the team,” said Gaga.

“Their integration into the squad will be crucial as we look to climb the standings and achieve our goals for the season.”

Meanwhile, there is positive news on the injury front. Captain Zayad Musa has returned to full training and is expected to feature in the upcoming match against Nasarawa United on February 8th.

Ismaila Bello, who was suspended for three matches after receiving a red card in a previous match, has served his suspension and is expected to return to the team.

Bilal Yakubu and Ajiji Gimba have also rejoined the team after recovering from injuries.

However, Usman Yobo remains sidelined due to injury.
