Fans Laud El-Kanemi Warriors’ Quartet Selection for Super Eagles-B

Football supporters as well as sports enthusiasts commend Nigerian National Team interim Technical Adviser Augustine Eguavoen for selecting four El-Kanemi Warriors players into the National Team Super Eagles B for the 2025 African Nations Championship CHAN qualifying against Ghana.
 
The Chairman Supporters Club of El-kanemi Warriors Football Club of Maiduguri Alhaji Waziri Isa acknowledged the support, encouragement, and commitment of His Excellency Professor Babagana Umara Zulum toward El-Kanemi Warriors through the workaholic Commissioner Ministry of Youth Empowerment and Sports Development, Comrade Saina Buba.
 
The Chairman expressed his delights following the release of the 32 selected players list by the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) for CHAN.
 
“On behalf of the teaming supporters, I must have to commend Augustine Eguavoen for coming to the far-northern states of Borno and selecting four of our players; it’s encouraging, motivation, and a show of love, and One Nigeria; we must have to thank him and continue praying for the team and Nigeria at large to victory at all the competitions.” Waziri Isa 
 
Isa added that since the assumption of Aliyu Zubairu as the Technical Adviser, El-Kanemi Warriors completely changed their pattern of play in different styles that led them to be promoted to the Nigerian Premier Football League last season as well as winning the Presidential Federation Cup 2023/2024 season by defeating Abia Warriors in Lagos.
 
Among the players selected for the Super Eagles for CHAN are: 
 
Abba MaiGari Defence 
Abbas Usman Defence 
Musa Zayyad midfielder and Abdul Sanusi forward.
 
Alhaji Waziri Isa is the President of Qatar Football Academy of Maiduguri and among the current management board of El-Kanemi Warriors Football Club assigned by Governor Babagana Umara Zulum.
 
Qatar Football Academy engages thousands of youths in the state and has recorded so many achievements of medals at competitions in and outside the state.
 
The team is among the participants of the 2024/2025 Borno State League Division, which is about to commence.
