Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has appointed the Emir of Fufore, Alhaji Muhammadu Sani Ribadu, as the Amirul-Hajj and leader of the Adamawa State government delegation for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.
The Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, stated that the appointment was made in recognition of Emir Ribadu’s dedication, experience, and commitment to religious affairs within the state.
Other members appointed to the delegation include Alhaji Muhammad Buba Jidjiwa, Barr. A T Shehu, Alhaji Ibrahim Abba, and Alhaji Abubakar Murtala, with Alhaji Mohammed Dabo serving as the secretary.
Governor Fintiri has charged the committee members to be fully dedicated to their responsibilities, ensuring a smooth and successful 2025 Hajj operation for the state’s pilgrims.

He also directed the delegation to work closely with all relevant agencies to achieve this goal.
