Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago, has expressed his gratitude to members of his cabinet for their support and dedication in his service to the state.

This is contained in a statement issued by Bologi Ibrahim, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Niger State, on Monday, 24, 2025.

The governor made these remarks during a brief ceremony at the Council Chambers, where he was presented with a birthday cake marking his 51st birthday.

“This is a significant milestone in my life’s journey,” Governor Bago stated, expressing his appreciation to his cabinet.

“All the accolades I have received from people across the country are due to the continued support I receive from my cabinet members. I pray that Allah continues to keep us together.”

The birthday cake was presented by the Permanent Secretary of the Government House, Hajiya Hauwa Wali, who described it as a symbol of the love and support from all cabinet members.

“We will all continue to give him all the necessary support to succeed,” she affirmed.

Governor Bago, who is popularly known as the “Farmer Governor,” has been lauded for his agricultural initiatives and commitment to the development of Niger State.

His 51st birthday celebration served as an opportunity for his cabinet to express their solidarity and appreciation for his leadership.
