Bauchi State Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has presented an estimated ₦900 billion 2026 Appropriation Bill to the Bauchi State House of Assembly, focusing on deepening development gains across the state.
The presentation took place at the State Assembly complex, Bauchi.
Governor Mohammed described the proposal as “The Budget of Consolidation and Sustainability”, saying it is designed to strengthen ongoing projects and expand investments in infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture and economic empowerment.
“This budget reflects our commitment to inclusive development and sustained progress for every community in Bauchi State,” the governor said.
Speaker of the House, Rt Hon. Abubakar Y. Sulaiman, praised the governor for submitting the proposal on time.
“Over the last six years, this administration has demonstrated sincerity of purpose by improving key sectors that directly impact citizens,” he said.
He assured that lawmakers will conduct a swift but thorough review of the proposal to support the state’s continued stability and growth.
