Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has formally presented the Staff of Office to His Royal Majesty Aggrey Bechour Ali, the newly installed Kumu I of Gombi Chiefdom.

The presentation ceremony was held in Gombi, where Governor Fintiri urged the traditional ruler to prioritize peace and security within his domain.

“I urge Your Royal Highness to work closely with security agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of your subjects,” Governor Fintiri said.

“Peace and security are crucial for development, and I trust that you will play a pivotal role in fostering a peaceful and harmonious environment in the Gombi Chiefdom.”

The Governor also emphasized the importance of traditional rulers in promoting good governance and community development.
