The Umar Usman Kadafur Badminton Club of Borno State emerged victorious at the recently concluded Professor Zulum 2025 Badminton Championship.

The four-day tournament was held at the NUGA Hall in the University of Maiduguri.

A total of 192 players from 126 badminton clubs across Nigeria are competing for a total prize money of N21.6 million.

Alhaji Adamu Lawan Zaufanjinba, Chairman of the Local Organising Committee, acknowledged the support received from the Borno state governor Babagana Umara Zulum for the success of the tournament.
