Borno State Deputy Governor Umar Usman Kadafur on Wednesday represented Governor Babagana Umara Zulum at the two-day Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) meeting held in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State.

The high-level meeting, which brought together governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), focused on reviewing developmental initiatives across member states and strengthening collaboration on security, agriculture, and economic growth.

According to the organisers, the forum also provided a platform for deliberations on national issues and party strategies aimed at enhancing governance and policy alignment among APC-led states.

The meeting is expected to end with a communiqué reaffirming the governors’ commitment to regional cooperation, transparency, and prioritising citizens’ welfare across the country.
