The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced that it’s ready to help pilgrims in the state with their visa applications for the 2025 Hajj.

Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, the Director General of the Board, made this known after a management meeting in his office on Wednesday.

Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u added that the visa application process officially began on February 19, 2025.

He directed all Directors of the Board to remember that the way pilgrims are grouped will remain the same as in previous years.

A statement signed by Sulaiman A. Dederi, the Board’s Public Relations Officer, confirmed this development.

Alhaji Muhammad Ghali Muhammad, the Director of Hajj Operations, urged those who haven’t submitted their international passports to do so immediately, as visa processing has already started.

Alhaji Muhammad Ghali also said that the Board will work with Local Government Hajj Centre Officers to make sure the pilgrims are grouped according to the rules set by Saudi Arabian authorities.

The Board has finished making all the necessary arrangements to ensure that no pilgrim is left behind.
