Kano Pillars FC has announced that the team will travel by air to Lagos for their upcoming Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Matchday 21 fixture against Ikorodu City.
The Sai Masu Gida disclosed this in a statement on Monday by the Media and Communications Directorate, Kano Pillars FC.
Alhaji Ali Muhammad Umar, chairman of the club, said that flying to distant away games will enhance the comfort and readiness of our team.
“This decision aligns with the vision of His Excellency, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, who has been a strong pillar of support for Kano Pillars FC.”

The Chairman expressed gratitude to Governor Yusuf for his unwavering support and to Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Hon. Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso, for his contributions to the club’s success.
Kano Pillars, currently 8th on the NPFL table with 28 points from 19 matches, will face Ikorodu City at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena on Wednesday, 29th January 2025.
