The Kano State Police Command has arraigned Shamsiyya Adamu, a female-led syndicate of thieves, and her gang before a Chief Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
 
SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the PPRO Kano State Command, disclosed in a statement on Tuesday that the syndicate, led by Shamsiyya Adamu, along with four other members, were arraigned for criminal conspiracy, trespass, and theft. 
 
According to SP Kiyawa, four additional suspects—Fati Auwal, Kamal Sale, Usman Nasir, and Bashir Ibrahim—were arrested for theft and receiving stolen property. 
 
Twelve mobile phones were recovered from them, and investigations are ongoing.
 
A total of 86 people have lodged complaints against the suspects, highlighting the extent of their criminal activities.
