The Kano State Police Command, in collaboration with ISN Products and Zolon Healthcare Nig Ltd, conducted a free diabetic screening and health awareness program for its officers on Tuesday.

This was disclosed in a statement by SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, Police Public Relations Officer, Kano State Police Command.

Over 70 officers benefitted from the initiative, which aimed to promote early detection, prevention, and effective management of diabetes among police personnel.

“ISN Products and Zolon Healthcare Nig Ltd collaborated with Bompai Police Clinic to organise this free screening as medical support for the police force,” said Umar Kashetu, a medical expert from ISN Products.

“The results show that the police are really health conscious.”

Commissioner of Police, CP Salman Dogo Garba, expressed his gratitude to the collaborating organisations.

“We recognise the importance of maintaining the health and well-being of our officers,” said CP Garba.

This initiative aligns with the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun’s objective to promote the welfare and well-being of police personnel.
