The Commissioner of Police, Katsina State Command, CP Bello Shehu, held a conference with senior officers to strengthen security strategies and promote professionalism and awarded commendation letters to five officers.

According to a press release by DSP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu, Police Public Relations Officer, CP Bello Shehu reviewed and enhanced the existing security architecture to improve public safety.

During the conference, the CP awarded commendation letters to five officers who “demonstrated exceptional integrity” by rejecting a ₦1 million bribe, arresting two suspected car thieves, and recovering stolen motor vehicles.

CP Bello Shehu emphasised the importance of “dedication to duty, integrity, and service excellence.” 

He urged officers to “maintain the highest standards of professionalism and uphold the values of the Nigeria Police Force.”

“Integrity, diligence, and commitment to duty are the hallmarks of the Force. I commend officers who uphold these values and charge others to follow suit,” the CP stated.

The command said the conference underscores the CP’s commitment to enhancing security and promoting professionalism and that the Nigeria Police Force remains dedicated to serving the public with integrity and effectiveness.
