Katsina Police Commissioner Welcomes New Recruits, Emphasises Integrity

The Commissioner of Police in Katsina State, CP Aliyu Abubakar Musa, has welcomed a batch of newly passed-out police constables to the command.

This was disclosed in a statement issued by DSP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Katsina State Command, on Tuesday.

Addressing the new recruits, CP Musa emphasised the importance of upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

“I warn you against engaging in any form of corruption or unprofessional conduct,” he stated.

“Remember that you are not only representing yourselves, but also your families, the command, and the entire police force.”

He urged the new constables to be mindful of the changing dynamics of policing and to continuously strive to improve their skills and knowledge.

The commissioner directed the immediate commencement of retraining programs for the new recruits, focusing on crucial areas such as weapons handling and other essential police duties, to ensure they are well-equipped to effectively discharge their responsibilities.

CP Musa expressed confidence in the abilities of the new recruits to make valuable contributions to the command and the force.
