The Joint Task Force Operation Hadin Kai has handed over ChibokGirl, 330 others to the Borno state government for rehabilitation.
Presenting the Chibok girl and other rescued persons on Monday at the Maimalari Cantonment, Maiduguri, the Theatre Commander, Operation Hadin Kai Maj-Gen, Waheed Shuaibu disclosed that Ehi Abdul, 27, is three months pregnant was rescued on June 23, 2024, with two kids in Sambisa Forest.
He said Ehi, who is on serial number 67 of the kidnapped Chibok girl on April 14, 2014, was married to two husbands, including Abu Darda in Gwoza local council.
He explained that she had married two husbands, Shuaibu added that the rescued woman was three months pregnant when she was reunited with the two children.
Similarly, a total of 330 people were also rescued and handed over to the Borno state government for further profiling and rehabilitation at the Bulumkutu Rehabilitation Centre (BRC), Maiduguri.

The 330 people, comprised of 110 women and 220 children, were rescued from the Bama-Pulka axis during the troops’ clearance operation in Sambisa Forest.
Navy Captain Mohammed Abdulai disclosed that the handed-over children are to be vaccinated against six killer diseases, including cholera and polio, at the rehabilitation centre.
While thanking the military, the Director of Social Welfare in the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, Aisha Shettima, commended the military for the rescue of 333 captives.
She, therefore, urged the military to continue adopting the non-kinetic approach of rescuing the remaining captives in the forest.
According to her, the rescued Boko Haram victims will be provided with psychosocial support, including the education of children, while the women will be trained in various vocational skill.
