The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) carried out a targeted air interdiction operation that destroyed a major terrorist hideout in the Sambisa general area on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

This was disclosed in a statement by Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information.

The strike, executed at ARRA, followed sustained intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions that tracked terrorist movements after the 17 October ambush on troops at Kashomri.

ISR coverage detected active structures and suspicious activity at the enclave, prompting a coordinated attack by the Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai.

According to the NAF, air assets engaged the location in successive, precision-guided passes.

โ€œThe strike achieved its intended effect with the complete destruction of all identified targets,โ€ the statement said.

The operation significantly disrupted terrorist command and logistics networks and degraded their fighting capability.
