The National Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has announced the disbursement of over N151 million to 1,917 students across multiple Nigerian institutions, aiming to alleviate financial burdens and ensure educational accessibility.

Specifically, NELFUND distributed N127,698,500 to 1,333 students at the University of Uyo, Uyo; N13,979,000 to 151 students at Lagos State University of Science and Technology; and N9,985,100 to 433 students at the College of Administration, Management, and Technology, Potiskum.

“We are excited to announce the successful disbursement of funds to support students across various institutions,” a NELFUND press release stated.

“Education remains our priority, and we are committed to ensuring financial accessibility for all!”

The disbursement is described as “another step towards ensuring that no student is left behind due to financial constraints.”
