New Kano NSCDC Commandant Pledges Loyalty, Cooperation to Governor Yusuf

The newly posted Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kano State, Bala Bawa Bodinga, has pledged loyalty and close cooperation with the Kano State Government to ensure peace and security across the state.

This was disclosed in a statement by Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, spokesperson to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, on Sunday.

During a courtesy visit to the Governor at Government House, Kano, Commandant Bodinga assured that he would uphold professionalism and strengthen inter-agency collaboration to safeguard lives and property.

โ€œI will work with the Kano Governor and will not allow any group or forces to make me go against you,โ€ he said.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf welcomed the new Commandant and expressed readiness to support the NSCDC in carrying out its duties effectively.

โ€œOur administration remains fully committed to peace, security, and inter-agency cooperation,โ€ the governor stated.

He commended the Civil Defence Corps for its contributions to protecting critical infrastructure and community safety, reaffirming Kanoโ€™s continued partnership with all security agencies for the stateโ€™s stability and progress.
