New Police Commissioner Emmanuel Ado Christopher Assumes Duty in Yobe

The Yobe State Police Command has welcomed its new Commissioner of Police, Emmanuel Ado Christopher, who assumed duty on Wednesday, March 27, 2025.

A seasoned officer with over 30 years of experience, CP Christopher, a native of Niger State, holds a degree in political science from Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto.

According to a statement released by Police Public Relations Officer SP Dungus Abdulkarim, CP Christopher has attended numerous professional courses, including training at the Israeli Military Institute.

“As the 33rd Commissioner of Police in Yobe State since the command’s establishment, CP Ado is committed to serving the people of Yobe State and ensuring their safety and security,” Abdulkarim stated.

The statement highlighted Christopher’s extensive experience, including roles as ADC to the Governor of Enugu State and Commander of CTU Base 3, Portharcourt. 

The command urged the public to cooperate with the new commissioner in his efforts to enhance security in the state.
