Mr Ejibunu noted that PMS smuggling remained a significant challenge, fueled by economic disparities and the lure of quick profits.

He reaffirmed that under the leadership of Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adeniyi, the service remained resolute in dismantling smuggling networks and bringing economic saboteurs to justice.

“I want to reiterate our commitment to upholding the rule of law and ensuring that the benefits of government policies reach every Nigerian.

“The NCS will continue to adapt and innovate in its fight against smuggling, leveraging technology, intelligence, and collaboration to stay ahead of criminal elements,” Mr Ejibunu added.
