The operation, conducted following credible intelligence reports, targeted a notorious arms dealer’s base in Rawaya Village near Kazok.
According to Major Samson Nantip Zhakom, Media Information Officer for Operation Enduring Peace, the suspect fled moments before troops arrived.

Troops also seized three mobile phones and other items believed to be linked to the suspect’s criminal operations.
The recovered weapons are now in custody for further investigation, while efforts to apprehend the fleeing suspect and his collaborators are ongoing.
Operation Enduring Peace reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining aggressive operations against criminal elements and ensuring safety across Plateau State and the Joint Operations Area
