Kano Pillars FC Chief Coach, Ahmed Garba Yaro-Yaro, has stated that his team is fully focused on securing a positive result against El-Kanemi Warriors in their rescheduled Matchday 20 fixture.
The Sai Masu Gida are set to lock horns with the Desert Warriors on Wednesday at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano.
Speaking at his pre-match brief ahead of the midweek clash, Yaro-Yaro acknowledged the disappointment of their narrow defeat to Remo Stars in their previous match.
“The defeat at Remo was painful because we played much better and deserved to take something from the game, but luck wasn’t on our side,” he said.
“We have put that setback behind us and are now looking ahead to Wednesday’s match against El-Kanemi Warriors, where I strongly believe we will secure a positive result, God willing.”
A victory against El-Kanemi Warriors would be crucial for Kano Pillars, as it would propel them up the NPFL standings.
The team will be eager to avenge their first-leg defeat against El-Kanemi in Maiduguri.
