The Police Service Commission (PSC) has announced the promotion of 7,194 Inspectors to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).

The approval follows a recommendation by the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun.

The newly promoted officers, who successfully passed the Departmental Selection Board (DSB), have been urged to utilize their experience to uphold modern policing standards and adhere to the law in the discharge of their duties.

In a statement by ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Force Public Relations Officer, Force Headquarters, Abuja, the IGP congratulated the officers and reaffirmed the Force’s commitment to improving welfare for all personnel while ensuring that promotions are timely and merit-based.
