Senator Kaka Shehu Lawan Commiserates, Supports Kawuri Bomb Blast Victims

Senator Kaka Shehu Lawan (SAN), representing Borno Central Senatorial at the national Assembly, has extended his condolences to the victims of the recent bomb blast in kawuri town of Konduga local government area.

The Senator sent a delegation led by Hon. Bukar Modu, Member of the House of Assembly representing Konduga local government in the Borno state house of assembly, to commiserate with the affected families.

The delegation delivered the Senator’s message of sympathy and presented financial support to the families of the deceased and injured victims.

Each of the 20 families who lost loved ones received N200,000, while 20 injured persons undergoing treatment at the State Special Hospital received N50,000 each.

In his message, Senator Lawan regretted the occurrence of the incident and prayed for lasting peace in the state.

He also prayed for the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives and speedy recovery for those injured.

The Ward Head of Kawuri, Lawan Kawurima, thanked Senator Lawan for his support and concern, noting that this was not the first time the Senator had identified with the community in their time of need.

The delegation later visited the injured at the State Special Hospital, presenting the token amount sent by the Senator.
