Vice President Kashim Shettima led a delegation of mourners, including Governor Babagana Umara Zulum, in the third-day prayers for the late Hon. Ahmed Ali Ahmed, former Commissioner for Finance in Borno State. 
 
The prayers took place in Maiduguri, the state capital, marking three days since the commissioner’s passing on Monday.
 
The Vice President was joined by Governor Babagana Umara Zulum, National Assembly members from Borno State, Minister of Agriculture and Food Security Sen. Abubakar Kyari, and Borno State Executive Council members, among many others.
 
After the prayers, the Vice President departed for the federal capital, Abuja.
